Abstract

This manual documents a series of test procedures for data QC of in-situ surface wave sensors. In-situ wave observations covered by these procedures are collected in real time as a measure of wave characteristics (wave height, wave period, and wave direction) in oceans and lakes. The manual was first published in June 2013 and updated in 2015.
